Local Member Events and Workshops
Connect, Collaborate and Re-energise
The IHCA’s Local Member Events & Workshops initiative gives consultants the chance to come together outside the formal conference setting: to connect, share ideas and strengthen professional relationships within their hospitals and local regions.
These gatherings are designed to foster community, well-being and collaboration among members at every career stage.
How It Works
Members can propose a theme, date and location for a local workshop or event.
Once approved, the Association organises the logistics: venue, moderator and refreshments. and funds the session through the IHCA’s Member Development Programme.
Events are free for IHCA members to attend and may include colleagues from nearby hospitals or other specialities.
Non-members are welcome as guests, helping to broaden professional connections and awareness of the Association’s work.
Getting Involved
If you and your colleagues would like to host an IHCA-supported local event or workshop, contact the IHCA office with your proposed theme and preferred date.
A member of the Executive Team will assist in arranging the event and confirming available funding.
These local events are part of IHCA’s commitment to supporting connection, wellbeing and professional development at every stage of a consultant’s career.
