Statement by the Irish Hospital Consultants Association on the passing of Dr Keshav Sharma

Dr Gabrielle Colleran, IHCA Vice President said, “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our colleague and friend, Dr Keshav Sharma last week.
“Keshav was an exceptionally kind and exemplary medical professional who dedicated his life to helping others. Having known him personally, I can say that a light went out in Wexford last week and in the hearts of friends, colleagues and patients - who were all incredibly fond of him.
“We think especially of his mother in Trinidad and his friends here in Ireland, to whom we extend our deepest condolences.
“His legacy for many of us is one of kindness, generosity and craic. We’ll remember him as we mind each other at this very tough time.”
